Ice Out

It’s official! The ice out date for 2023 on Lower Hay Lake is May 2nd. Ice on date was December 7, 2022 - that makes 145 days (or 40% of the year) of ice on the lake for the 2022-2023 season. Historically, there were 37 seasons shorter and 20 seasons longer. Earliest ice out was March 27, 2012 and latest ice out was May 24, 1978. See you on the lake!
