Lower Hay Lake Public Boat Access Reopens

The Lower Hay Lake Public Access reopened on August 27, 2025 after being closed for renovations most of the summer. Updates include new, wider boat ramps, two new docks, a paved road and parking area, and additional parking spaces.

Ice Out

It’s official! The ice out date for 2026 on Lower Hay Lake is April 20th. Ice on date was December 15, 2025. Earliest ice out was March 27, 2012 and latest ice out was May 24, 1978. See you on the lake!

2022: May 6 ~ 2021: April 7th ~ 2020: April 21st ~ 2019: April 24th 2018: May 4th
